Very BIG congratulations to DBA academists Ivan Petrenko and Yulianna Beziazychna for winning first place in each of their categories at the "Merci, Maestro" piano competition in Brussels yesterday!!! With candidates from Slovenia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Japan, Lithuania, UK, and Italy one would say it was a very international bunch of competitors. Ivan and Yulianna’s teacher, Tatiana Abayeva, was very proud.




We are incredibly excited to announce our end of the season "Davidsbündler Feest" from June 15th - 18th including concerts at the Davidsbündler Music Academy, Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Studio 150 Bethlehemkerk, the Vondelpark Open-Air Theatre and Kasteel Amerongen.

We are incredibly proud of both young artists Yulianna Beziazychna, who won first prize in her category, and Akari Bastiaens who won second prize as the youngest in her category yesterday at the esteemed Globe International Piano Competition. 61 young pianists (age 9 to 18) were selected from around the world to come to Hilversum, NL to participate. Yulianna is a full time student of Tatiana Abayeva at the Davidsbündler Music Academy, while Akari studies part time with both Tatiana and Borys Fedorov beside her training at the Maastricht Conservatory Junior program with Joop Celis.
