Huge Congratulations to DBA Academists Yulianna Beziazychna and Jasmin Jin for their big successes at the Steinway Concourse, Netherlands in the Concertgebouw kleine zaal. Yulianna won the 1st prize, audience prize and a special Steinway statuette prize given to one competitor over all three age categories to represent the Netherlands at the International Steinway Festival 2025 in Hamburg, Germany. Jasmin was awarded the 3rd prize, a great accomplishment having only joined the academy this season. Congrats also to their teacher Tatiana Abayeva, whose great dedication to these young pianists have been shining ever so brightly!

Huge congratulations to DBA Academist Akari Bastiaens, who took home not only the first prize but also audience prize and press prize for her performance at the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede, NL on Friday!! Akari (11) played alongside participants aged till 16 in her category. She worked closely with professor Tatiana Abayeva over the last weeks in preparation for this and the Steinway Competition, Belgium in which she is currently a finalist.

Akari's 1st prize is the third major success in an international piano competition this month, after Ivan Petrenko's 1st prize at the Volodymyr Krainev Competition for Young Pianists in Zurich, Switzerland and Yulianna Beziazychna's 1st prize at the Bela Bartok Piano Competition in Graz, Austria





Congratulations to @forteyulianna for her top scoring performance at the Bela Bartok piano competition in Graz, Austria. She took home the first prize in her category and many nice memories together with her professor Tatiana Abayeva. Fantastic addition of yet another first prize to her collection!
