Congratulations Yulianna Beziazychna (@forteyulianna) for yesterday’s big win at the Prinses Christina Concours, a nation wide competition for young musicians. Yulianna received the 1st prize and Audience Prize, presented by the Dutch princess Irene. Alongside this she also took additional prizes: Klassiek op het Amstelveld Prize, Muziekgebouw aan het IJ Prize, Belofte Prize of the Kersjes Fund.

It marks the second consecutive year that a student of the Davidsbündler Academy has won first prize, following last year’s success by Akari Bastiaens.

Students of the Davidsbündler Academy have participated in three events to celebrate: Yulianna Beziazychna, Jure Jurakic, Alicia Braude and Mahault Ska in Mozart’s Concerto no. 10 for two pianos with the Amsterdam Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra, organised by Het Concertkoor, and two events in collaboration with renowned Dutch writer Jaap Scholten and his work with the Protect Ukraine Foundation in Laren (Sofia Dorosh) and Bloemendaal (Yulianna Beziazychna).
