Congratulations Akari Bastiaens for winning the 1st Prize, Public Prize and Concerto Prize at the regional final of the Princess Christina Competition in Den Bosch! She’ll get to perform as soloist next season with the Philips Symfonie Orkest.
Akari is a student of Tatiana Abayeva and Borys Fedorov at the Davidsbündler Music Academy as well as Joop Celis at the Maastricht Conservatory.
Congratulations to Ivan Petrenko (16, Ukraine) who won the 2nd prize in the Robert Schumann Competition for Young Pianists in Düsseldorf, Germany with no 1st prize awarded! Watch his performance from the final of three rounds in Mozart's Piano Concerto KV488 in A Major, first movement with the Cologne Chamber Orchestra and conductor Roc Fargas i Castells. Ivan is a student of Tatiana Abayeva and Borys Fedorov at the Davidsbündler Music Academy.
Davidsbündler Academist Eliana Braude made her debut with the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra playing a movement of Mozart's 12th Piano Concerto, as part of the Klassiek op het Amstelveld "Spotlight Concert" on Dec 7th.
