For this program, we gather some of the colours, moods, and stories that we love most about French music: the glowing lyricism of Fauré’s Piano Quartet No. 1, which seems to breathe elegance even in its most passionate moments; the tender, shimmering Andantino from Debussy’s String Quartet, whose quiet poetry feels like watching light shift across a still surface; and the playful charm of Borys Fedorov’s *Hommage à Pierre Richard*, a witty musical nod to the irresistible humour of classic French cinema. To bring the evening even closer to the streets and spirit of Paris, we've added a few beloved French songs in Anna's own arrangements—*La Bohème*, *Sous le ciel de Paris*, and others—melodies that carry nostalgia, warmth, and that unmistakable Parisian sigh. We hope this collection feels like a little journey through the France that lives in our imagination: tender, mischievous, refined, and full of heart.
