About the event
The most talented piano duo talents of today!
Four young Ukrainian pianists from the Davidsbündler Music Academy take you to the swirling world of twenty fingers on one and two grand pianos. Listen to, among others, Sofiia Dorosh and Ivan Petrenko (both 14 years old) with Rachmaninoff's le Suite for two pianos, and Maria Parfonova (17 years old) and Victoriia Demkovska (21 years old) with works by Debussy and Lutoslawksi. The academy was founded last year in The Hague by the Ukrainian star pianist Anna Fedorova and her husband double bass player Nicky Schwartz with the aim of guiding and coaching Bonge musicians between the ages of 8 and 18 in their musical education. Anna and Nicky have made a special effort to bring Ukrainian talent to the Netherlands, to offer them training and to provide accommodation. Part of the proceeds from this concert will go to the academy. This concert will also be streamed live.
