Mikhail Voskresensky is amongst the most prominent Russian pianists of our time. Voskresensky was a professor and the chair of the piano department at the Moscow Conservatory until he fled Russia after its invasion of Ukraine. Voskresensky's large repertoire includes all the Beethoven sonatas, the complete works of Chopin, and 64 piano concerti which he has performed under conductors including Kurt Masur, Evgeny Svetlanov, Charles Dutoit and others. He has recorded more than 50 CDs. This recital concludes Voskresensky's three day residency and masterclasses at the Davidsbündler Music Academy.
