About the event
Ukrianian pianist Antonii Baryshevskyi is joined by American bassist and cellist, Nicholas Santangelo Schwartz in a program inspired by nature, an inspiration for these composers. The rich, resonant tones of the double bass and cello can evoke the tranquility of a forest, the power of a storm, or the gentle flow of a river. Composers Hindemith, Lunyov Brahms and Schumann frequently drew on elements of nature to shape the mood and atmosphere of these works, allowing listeners to experience the beauty and complexity of the natural world through music.
