Anna Urpina, Boroque & Modern Violin

Catalan violinist Anna Urpina will present the music of her multi-award winning album “Baroque / Modern” to keen violin music lovers of all eras. She plays baroque music on her baroque violin with gut strings, and the modern pieces on modern violin. In between the pieces, she will talk with the audience about the differences in technique, intonation and tuning. On the program are works by Biber, Corelli, Castello, Bach, Brotons, and Guix.
