The Academist Program

The Academist Program is the full package of what the academy has to offer. It is for piano students who participate in all available masterclasses, chamber music sessions, inspirational encounters and lessons & workshops. They also have priority for concert possibilities and participation in masterclasses. Academists receive a studies certificate at the end of each year.

Education, Guidance & Experience

Each Davidsbündler Academist receives two hours of private lessons each week.

Unique to the Davidsbündler Academy, the program also includes:

  • Side-by-side chamber music weeks with notably established musicians

  • Special Guest Q&A sessions with artist managers, recording engineers, journalists, conductors and concert hall programmers & promoters

  • Entry to all concerts happening at the Academy.

On Stage

Davidsbündler Academists get many opportunities to perform in public:

  • Side-by-side projects 4 times per year with eminent musicians

  • Public Masterclasses

  • Academist Concerts: 8 times per year in the Davidsbündler Recital Hall as well as other venues in the Netherlands

Trial Lesson

Please fill in the Apply Now! form and we will be in touch with you about arranging a trial lesson free of charge.

Applications are Open

After sending a sample video or recording, applicants will be invited for a free trial lesson, which will serve as the Academist Program audition. Once we receive the application form, we will personally get in touch with you to discuss the next steps. 

Pricing

Pricing is based on the number of lessons needed as well as a commitment to participation in all the Academy activities. The cost is discounted from participating in all the activities separately, but our commitment to your education is only increased.

Full Package with 2 lessons per week

  • 80 Lessons per year
